In a series of NOAA-related funding beginning in 2001 including a) Northeast Consortium, b) NEFSC's Northeast Cooperative Research Program, and, most recently, c) IOOS-Ocean Technology Transition Program, we developed low-cost strategies to measure bottom temperature, salinity, and current velocity with the help of over 100 fixed and mobile gear fishermen dispersed along the entire New England coast. The current system utilizes a wireless water temperature & depth sensor on the gear, a micro-computer with a screen in the wheelhouse, and deck-mounted satellite transmitter in order to get bottom temperatures in real-time as fishermen haul their gear. The objective in the long run is to routinely assimilate this data into numerical ocean models in both hindcast and forecast modes."; String testOutOfDate "now-1day"; String time_coverage_end "2020-12-22T18:23:00Z"; String time_coverage_start "2015-06-13T13:03:00Z"; String title "eMOLT Haul Bottom Temperature"; Float64 Westernmost_Easting -76.3783; } }
The URL specifies what you want: the dataset, a description of the graph or the subset of the data, and the file type for the response.
Tabledap request URLs must be in the form
https://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/datasetID.fileType{?query}
For example,
https://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/pmelTaoDySst.htmlTable?longitude,latitude,time,station,wmo_platform_code,T_25&time>=2015-05-23T12:00:00Z&time<=2015-05-31T12:00:00Z
Thus, the query is often a comma-separated list of desired variable names, followed by a collection of
constraints (e.g., variable<value),
each preceded by '&' (which is interpreted as "AND").
For details, see the tabledap Documentation.
